Creative Composition: Write, Record, and Release Your Music (Ages 9-14)
Discover the art of songwriting and music production in our Creative Composition class at Peak Music! Whether you’re a seasoned musician or new to songwriting, this class offers a collaborative environment to explore music creation and recording. Students will learn essential skills such as song structure, lyric writing, melody creation, chord progressions, and beat production. In the recording studio, they will practice microphone placement, recording techniques, and production best practices.

Class Details:

• Class Time: Thursday, 4:45 - 5:45 PM
• Dates: January 9 - March 27 (no group classes the week of February 24)
• Enrollment: Open to students who meet the prerequisites and have a passion for songwriting
• Focus: Songwriting fundamentals, recording techniques, and music production

Final Project:
Students will collaborate to write, record, and produce an album featuring their original songs. The album will be professionally mixed and mastered and released on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

Prerequisites:
Completion of Foundations Ensemble or 6+ months of private lessons is required.

Private Lessons:
A 30-minute private lesson is encouraged but not required.

Pricing:
$62.50/week, billed monthly. This price includes all mixing, mastering, and production fees associated with the album release. Receive a 10% discount if the full season is paid upfront.

Enrollment Commitment:
Participation in this class requires a commitment to the full season. Consistency is key to making progress and fully benefiting from the program.
