Ukulele Explorers: A Fun Introduction to Ukulele (Ages 6-9)
Ukulele Explorers is the perfect starting point for young beginners who want to learn the ukulele. This fun and engaging class introduces students to basic chord shapes, strumming patterns, and transitions, giving them a strong foundation in string instruments. In the final weeks, students will transition to guitar and bass, preparing them for the next step in their musical journey.
Class Details:
- Class Time: Thursday, 3:30 - 4:15 PM
- Dates: January 9 - March 27 (no group classes the week of February 24)
- Enrollment: Open to students who are new to ukulele or have very little experience
- Focus: Ukulele basics with a transition to guitar and bass
Final Performance:
Students will perform a ukulele piece for parents at the end of the season.
Prerequisites:
No prior experience required.
Instrument:
Students must have their own ukulele or rent/purchase one from Peak Music.
Next Steps:
After completing this class, students will graduate to the Foundations Ensemble program as guitar or bass players.
Pricing:
$37.50/week, billed monthly. Receive a 10% discount if the full season is paid upfront.

Participation in this class requires a commitment to the full season. Consistency is essential for making progress and fully benefiting from the program.
